Representative Experience

Mitch provides clients with advice relating to a number of different legal areas, including real-estate transactions, corporate/commercial matters, and wills and estate planning. He has acted for numerous persons and entities in connection with a variety of matters, including assisting with the purchase and sale of homes, advising small to medium-sized businesses on a wide range of issues such as start-ups, commercial leasing and business sales and purchases, acting for condominium boards, drafting estate-planning documentation, and guiding personal representatives through the probate process.

On a Personal Note

A native of small-town Saskatchewan, Mitch followed his wife to her home province of Nova Scotia and began practicing law here in 2011. Prior to that, he articled and practiced at a national business law firm in Calgary, Alberta. When not at work, Mitch is a sports enthusiast who stays active playing basketball, slo-pitch and a variety of other sports. He also serves on the board of directors for both the Canadian Condominium Institute (Nova Scotia Chapter) and the Halifax Hurricanes Minor Basketball Association. Mitch coaches youth basketball as part of the Metro Halifax Basketball Association, and is the former volunteer logistics coordinator for the Halifax Relay for Life (Canadian Cancer Society).
