Will is a member of our Advocacy & Dispute Resolution, Construction, Energy & the Environment, Labour & Employment, Long-Term Care Law and Municipal Law practice groups.

Representative Experience

Will knows that preparation is vital in order to effectively respond to changing circumstances. With this in mind, Will works diligently with his clients to provide practical solutions that serve the best interest of his clients. Will has experience in assisting clients with preparing for all levels of court in Nova Scotia; reviewing and drafting policies for institutional clients and providing strategic advice on matters involving long term care facilities.

Having participated in the Laskin Moot and Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, Will is well versed in preparing and presenting legal arguments that are focused on the key elements of a dispute.

Publications

Will co-authored a report for the Network of Expertise on Transportation in Arctic Waters (NEXTAW) entitled “Exploring Plausible Futures for Marine Transportation in the Canadian Arctic - A Scenarios’ Based Approach.”

Will has also published several articles and presented on matters involving maritime transportation, particularly on issues concerning the Canadian Arctic.

On a Personal Note

During his studies, Will was active within the law school community, acting as a peer mentor, coaching 1L moots and as the student chair for the Ivan C. Rand Lecture. Will was the President of the Law Student Society during his final year at the University of New Brunswick.

Outside of work, Will spends most of his time playing and coaching rugby with the Halifax Tars, out on the water, or wandering Nova Scotia’s trails and coastline with his two greyhounds.
