About Sarah

Sarah was born and raised in Pictou, Nova Scotia, before making Halifax her home.

Sarah attended Mount Allison University and graduated with highest distinctions in her Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Psychology. She then attended Dalhousie University for a Masters of Art in Health Promotion, specializing in community-based recovery of mental health issues, before enrolling in the University of New Brunswick for her Juris Doctor in 2018. Sarah graduated on the Law School Dean’s List in 2021.

Sarah has received extra training in written advocacy. She completed the well-respected Osgoode Law School Written Advocacy course in 2022.

Sarah’s litigation practice focuses on Insurance Law, Aboriginal Law, Human Rights Law, Labour and Employment Law and Administrative Law. 

Outside of work, Sarah recently began a volunteer position as a Board Member for the Chebucto Family Centre. She also enjoys spending time with her partner and their overly-spoiled cat, Yoda, going bouldering, listening to podcasts and filling her home with too many plants
